Codi Codes and the Carrot Cake

Book Cover

Codi Codes and the Carrot Cake

When Codi and her friends ask her mom to bake their favourite carrot cake, they realise that a rabbit has eaten all the carrots in mom’s garden. They decide to help mom and catch the rabbit, to take it to the forest.

They need a plan! For Codi and her friends that means Algotime! All of them are in position and have clear instructions to follow, thanks to the Algorithm they have created. The plan to catch the rabbit cannot fail! Or can it?

The Algorithm is presented as programming blocks to visually understand it better. But good solutions are usually not found the first time. Codi and her friends will often find that their initial idea doesn't work, and they will have to 'debug' their plan to be successful.

While having fun with Codi's adventures, children will become familiar with the most common code instructions. In addition to understanding one of the main premises of programming: a big problem has to be divided into smaller problems that can be solved more easily.

Our children will need coding skills. Start early with Codi Codes.
