Fenney the Fearless Fox lives in the Western Sahara Desert. He longs to explore the outside of his burrow and make a friend but his mother fears the outside world where predators roam and prowl. One night, Fenney decides to be brave and leave the burrow on an adventure. As he learns about the world, he meets the aloof and cunning, Mr Jackal, who intends to eat poor Fenney. As the story unfolds, Fenney teaches Mr Jackal about friendship and eventually changes his mind.
